The Racer X Fabrication thermostatic oil adapter plate kit for the 2013+ Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ / Toyota GT86 is available as a separate kit for those that would like to build their own oil cooler kit.
The adapter plate and spacer are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The thermostatic adapter plate and the spacer use square profile o-ring for a perfect seal to the OEM oil filter location. The M20x1.5 threaded adapter mates to the oil filter location and retains the same diameter and pitch for the oil filter to be placed on top. The thermostatic adapter plate uses a 185F thermostat that allows oil temperatures to raise to operating range before diverting oil through the cooler. The adapter plate comes standard in black anodize.
